An application component that issues verifiable health credentials into a patient's EUDI Wallet. It retrieves authentic health data from the Issuer Data Source, formats it as a verifiable credential (W3C VC or ISO mdoc) conforming to the applicable EHDS credential schema, signs it with the issuer's private key, and delivers it to the patient's Digital Identity Wallet via the OID4VCI protocol. The issuer must be registered in the national Issuer Trust Registry.
